I purchased an ASUS 1005PE netbook off ebay as a "parts machine"
looking for a site to get the asus restore disk for it as I fixed it and have it working.
I want to turn this into a hackintosh, but want to be able to put it back to factory settings later on so I can resell it when I'm done using it.
ASUS wants $50 for the restore disk, which is fracking ridiculous. apparently this model only came with the restore image on a hiddent partition. Well I didn't get the original hard drive with my netbook, the seller had pulled it and the ram.
